Calvin at Three Years Old:

Dad:  (after realizing he left the house without his baseball hat and worried that his hair might be sticking up):  “Uh, oh, I forgot my hat.”

Calvin:  “You don’t need it. Your hair looks great in the rain.”  (So Dad did not go back to get his hat)

Calvin:  (later at the store, in public, walking down a crowded sidewalk)  “Dad, why does your hair look so funny??”
