At Four Years Old:

Calvin:  ” I will be a parent some day.”

Mom:  “What are things parents should do?”

Calvin:  (pondering this)   “I will hug………I will kiss………I will play and play and play”

Mom:  “What are things parents should not do?”

Calvin:  “I won’t hit.    Or bite.    Or pinch.”
